We had the pleasure of participating in the first CEBAC Summit – Europe–Serbia Business Bridge: Innovating Sustainability, Technology & Talent, which was held on May 27, 2025 in the MTS Hall in Belgrade. This highly relevant business event brought together key actors from the world of business, investment and institutions, and represented a unique opportunity for intensifying cooperation between European and Serbian companies.
Focus on development topics crucial for the future
During the Summit, important topics that shape the modern business landscape were discussed – from the positioning of Serbia as a growing logistics and production center for European supply chains, through the application of ESG standards and sustainable business practices, to challenges in the field of human resources and talent development. Special attention was paid to digitization and its impact on the transformation of the industry in the direction of sustainable and smart solutions.
Our office Ikonić Stiković Advokati was represented by partner Mladen Stiković, who participated in a series of constructive discussions with representatives of companies and institutions from Serbia and Europe. The summit also included organized B2B meetings, which opened the door to new collaborations and business initiatives.
In addition to the formal part of the program, the “Expert Village” zone was also available to the participants, intended for the presentation of companies, services and innovative approaches in various industries. Such a platform additionally strengthened cross-sector connections, which is crucial for the successful positioning of Serbia within the European economic space and for the creation of joint development projects.
We would like to thank the organizers – Council of European Business Associations and Chambers in Serbia (CEBAC) – for the great organization and opportunity for strategic networking, exchange of experiences and presentation of a legal perspective on key topics of sustainable development and innovation.
