The partner of our office, Mladen Stiković, participated in the conference “The Power of Change: Energy Transition for a Competitive Serbia”, which was held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Belgrade.
The conference was organized by the company Wireless Media Group, with the support of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the European Network of Entrepreneurship and the Electric Industry of Serbia. It brought together key actors from the field of energy, industry, state administration and international institutions, with the aim of opening a dialogue on the key issues of the green transition and the energy future of Serbia.
During the conference, they talked about the implementation of the Energy Development Strategy and the future of investments in the era of green transition, then about regional cooperation and diversification of energy sources, as well as the possibilities of financing energy efficiency projects. Special attention was also attracted by the practical workshop “How to make a profitable solar investment”, which was followed by informal networking with experts and decision makers from the sector.
It was pointed out that five more acts from the electricity package are expected to be adopted in the next month, which will enable the Republic of Serbia to fulfill the key prerequisites for merging the electricity market with neighboring countries within the European Union and the Energy Community.
Law office Ikonić Stiković is actively involved in energy projects, providing legal support in the development and implementation of investments in energy infrastructure, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. Our team participates in the preparation of laws and by-laws, as well as in shaping the legal framework that encourages sustainable development and alignment with EU law in this area.
