The Ikonić Stiković law firm participated in the prestigious Bloomberg Adria Sustainable Strategies 2025 conference, held on June 12 at the Metropol Palace Hotel in Belgrade. Our office was represented by partners Mladen Stiković and Dragan Ikonić, who on this occasion were part of the discussions on the future of sustainable business, the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and new regulatory frameworks that are transforming economies across Europe.

The conference brought together key actors from the fields of finance, energy, technology and the regulatory sector in order to analyze the challenges and opportunities brought by the increasingly strong intertwining of ESG principles and AI technologies. In light of increasingly stringent EU requirements – including directives like CSRD and the new EU taxonomy – companies are faced with the task of balancing competitiveness with sustainability goals, especially in the era of energy-intensive AI solutions.

Issues of energy efficiency, circular economy and responsible data management were in the center of attention, as well as the role of the banking sector and large corporations in supporting the green transition. The discussions indicated that AI is not an obstacle to sustainability, but a potential tool for its improvement – but only with the appropriate legal and strategic infrastructure.

The office of Ikonić Stiković actively supports clients in the IT and technology sector, especially in areas directly related to the topics of the conference. Our team offers legal support on AI regulation, ESG compliance, data protection, sustainable finance and green innovation. We understand the complexity of European rules and standards and provide concrete legal advice that helps companies respond to the challenges of the modern market.

By participating in this event, Ikonić Stiković confirms once again its commitment to following global trends and a proactive role in the transformation of the business environment towards sustainability and innovation.
