Lawyer Dragan Ikonić Belgrade

Lawyer Dragan Ikonić has many years of experience in the field of civil and commercial law. Today, he deals with civil, commercial, and constitutional law (proceedings on constitutional appeals before the Constitutional Court and petitions before the European Court in Strasbourg).

His special areas of legal interest are the drafting of complex, sui generis contracts, representation in litigation in which specific legal issues have been raised. He likes to represent in litigation regarding contractual disputes, determination of monetary claims, property, inheritance rights, etc. In addition, he represented in commercial litigation, as well as in bankruptcy proceedings and litigation regarding the determination of bankruptcy claims.

He also participated in the commercial litigation of the plaintiff “HIPOL” a.d. of the chemical industry on the determination of the bankruptcy monetary claim, which was related to the determination of traces of money from multi-level, international, banking transactions over a period of 30 years. He wrote a complex legal opinion for the company “Gasteh” d.o.o. Indjija on the analysis of the state of multi-year litigation worth several million euros, as well as on the new defense strategy in the litigation regarding intellectual property rights and compensation for damages.

During his studies, he was awarded for his success and average grade. He unanimously defended his master’s thesis on judicial review of constitutionality and constitutional disputes (“Initiation of a constitutional dispute”, 2017, 184 pages) before the commission: prof. Dr. Olivera Vučić (mentor) and prof. Dr. Vladan Petrov. During his judicial internship, he completed an internship at the First Basic Court in Belgrade and at the bar.
